Payment Swap is a first-of-its-kind click-and-collect platform designed to transform how consumers upgrade their cars. The goal was simple - make car buying faster, simpler, and entirely online. Within seconds, drivers can view newer cars that match or beat their current monthly payment, complete finance approval digitally, and collect their new car in under twenty minutes.
Built using OutSystems, the platform brings together live dealer stock, finance rates, and vehicle data into one seamless experience. Our team engineered a secure, scalable system that integrates with selected finance partners including Northridge Finance, DSG Financial Services, and Aviva, enabling instant eligibility checks, transparent pricing, and a frictionless purchase journey without the need for haggling or paperwork.
For dealers, Payment Swap opens access to a previously untapped audience - drivers who weren’t yet back in the market for a new car. Dealers can upload stock directly to the platform, instantly reaching a wide audience and gaining full visibility into lead sources and conversions to understand exactly where business originates.
With OutSystems, we were able to move from concept to live beta rapidly, delivering a modern, mobile-first experience that’s both intuitive for customers and effortless for dealers. The result is a platform that redefines car buying - combining speed, simplicity, and trust - and showcases how low-code can power the next generation of digital automotive experiences.

We approached doddle to build us a unique digital platform which connected customers, to dealers, to finance houses and enabled consumers to purchase a used car online from the comfort of their own home. It was a complex project with many moving parts but the experience from start to finish was fantastic and the consumer website is one of a kind.
